My daddy when he was about sixteen, circa 1952. My son favors him a lot in the face and build. Miss this wonderful fella something fierce. Just passed the six year mark since his passing.

My Cats are headed to the Final Four, baby!!

It’s no secret of my love for Coach Cal and the UK Wildcats. I’ve been a Fan for Life, and I’m so proud of the resilience and tenacity of this 2013-14 team, made in huge part of freshmen and sophomores. Beating Kansas State in round one was impressive. Beating the undefeated Wichita State Shockers in the second round was, well, shocking. Beating Louisville in the Sweet Sixteen was amazing, but beating Michigan State in the Elite Eight today was a beautiful sight to behold. Especially without Big Willie at the post. Impressive in-the-paint play by Lee, sharp shooting from the Harrison twins and Young, and another double-double from Randel kept the Wolverines at bay. Keep up the hard work, boys. Big Blue Nation has your back!!
